Gazprom Nedra held an international conference within the framework of SPIGF-2021
On October 5, during the 10th jubilee St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, Gazprom Nedra LLC, on behalf of PJSC Gazprom, organised the international conference “Investment Oil and Gas Projects. Search, Exploration and Development of Hydrocarbon Fields.” The conference was attended by representatives of PJSC Gazprom subsidiaries as well as foreign and Russian oil and gas companies.

The welcoming speech was made by Oleg Aksyutin, Deputy Chairman of PJSC Gazprom Management Committee — Department Head He stressed that the company sees prospects for increasing the efficiency of investment oil and gas projects in improving digital modelling technologies and their application in planning investments.
Vsevolod Cherepanov, General Director of Gazprom Nedra LLC, speaking at the plenary session, noted that the Company is part of Gazprom's investment and forecast block and significantly contributes to the achievement of the strategic target of the first level of hydrocarbon reserves replenishment. In particular, the planned increase in reserves in 2021, provided only by Gazprom Nedra, will amount to more than 450 million tons of fuel equivalent.

“In the long-term perspective of the development of world energy markets, there is a trend towards gas coming out on top in the structure of global energy consumption. In this context, increasing the efficiency of geological exploration and geophysical services for natural gas fields acquires special, one might say paramount, importance,” said Vsevolod Cherepanov.

At the international conference, about 20 reports in total were presented on topical issues in the implementation of oil and gas projects, the introduction of innovative technologies and best practices for prospecting and exploration of deposits on land and offshore, and the use of intelligent systems to improve the efficiency of boreholes construction.
