A Gazprom Nedra team climbed Elbrus

On July 28, 2021, Gazprom Nedra LLC employees climbed the highest mountain peak in Russia and Europe — Elbrus, located in the North Caucasus. Eight company representatives climbed Elbrus along the northern route, which demands belaying skills and excellent physical fitness. The participants of the ascent began their journey from the base camp on July 24, making acclimatisation hikes and gradually overcoming the difficulties of severe weather conditions.

On the eastern peak of Elbrus (5,621 m above sea level)

The team fully completed the task, reaching the eastern peak of Elbrus (5,621 m above sea level) by a traverse from north to south, and hoisted the flags of PJSC Gazprom and Gazprom Nedra LLC.
