Irkutskgazgeofizika, a Production Branch of Gazprom Nedra LLC, Renamed to Vostokgazgeofizika
On October 1, 2023, the Irkutskgazgeofizika Production Branch of Gazprom Nedra LLC will be renamed to Vostokgazgeofizika Production Branch.
The name of the branch was changed due to the consolidation of Gazprom Nedra LLC’s branch network in the Geophysical Services area and resulted from the finalization of the merger of two branches — Irkutskgazgeofizika and Krasnoyarskgazgeofizika — into a single production unit.
Alexey Ovechkin, Director General of Gazprom Nedra LLC, says that the name “Vostokgazgeofizika” reflects the actual operational geography of one of Gazprom Nedra’s largest production branches located in Eastern Siberia.
According to the head of Gazprom Nedra LLC, the key effect of the change in the company’s organizational structure will be an increase in management efficiency due to the improvement and unification of business processes, while maintaining the required level of industrial and environmental safety at all work sites.
