The well tests enabled the inflow of commercial gas from the producing formation areas. During construction, a significant amount of core material was sampled and a wide range of geological and geophysical exploration was carried out.

After completing the set production tasks, the Northern Lights semi-submerged floating drilling rig (SSFDR) was demobilised from the drilling site on the Arctic shelf to its moorage station in the port of Murmansk.

“As the main operator of PJSC Gazprom on the Arctic shelf, Gazprom Nedra LLC is conducting geological exploration in the Barents and Kara Seas this current drilling season, systematically increasing their resource potential and strictly following the HSE requirements,” Vsevolod Cherepanov, General Director of Gazprom Nedra LLC, said.
