Gazprom Nedra was awarded the 2021 Science and Technology Prize of PJSC Gazprom for the development of an energy-saving unit
Gazprom Nedra LLC was awarded the PJSC Gazprom Science and Technology Prize for 2021. By the decision of the PJSC Gazprom Management Board the Company's development team was awarded for designing the innovative hybrid independent power supply system SAE-110 for PJSC Gazprom remote facilities.
The award ceremony for the creators of the design took place on December 09, 2021 in Moscow. Vsevolod Cherepanov, General Director of Gazprom Nedra LLC, presented diplomas, certificates and badges of honour to the laureates. The head of the company read out a congratulatory message from Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, who wished the laureates success in their work and new creative achievements.
The well-deserved awards were given to: Vyacheslav Plotnikov, Deputy General Director — Chief Engineer of Gazprom Nedra LLC (work manager), Evgeny Ignatiev, Chief Power Engineer — Head of the Chief Power Engineer Department, Evgeniya Bulycheva, Chief Specialist of the Chief Power Engineer Department, and Irina Klemina, Assistant to the General Director of the Company.

The innovative hybrid independent power supply system (SAE-110) is part of the Company's activities to develop a new generation of energy-saving technologies and is designed to solve the problem of electrification of remote low-power energy facilities. It is a hybrid environmentally friendly unit that works by converting solar energy and a methanol chemical reaction into electrical energy. The use of the unit makes it possible to ensure reliable power supply to power facilities and at the same time reduce the cost of their operation.
As Vsevolod Cherepanov noted, thanks to the efforts of the development team, the unit has been “brought to industrial circulation” and is already successfully operated at many Gazprom facilities, including the Power of Siberia gas pipeline, having proven its reliability.
