The PJSC Gazprom construction complex gave industry awards for Gazprom Nedra projects, based on the company’s results for 2024
Four Gazprom Nedra LLC projects won the Wings of Victory 2024 industry awards of PJSC Gazprom’s construction complex. The 5th annual award ceremony for project teams and leaders of Gazprom’s investment and forecasting unit for efficient implementation of investment and social projects was held on December 12 in St. Petersburg.
The nomination for the Best Organisational Project recognised the organisational initiative designed to transform and overhaul Gazprom Nedra LLC; project aims included improving the efficiency of the geological exploration and geophysical operations business across the Gazprom Group. Project roll-out is set to ensure both cost-efficiency and a faster and improved quality of operation procedures, generally leading to a stronger and enhanced company customer focus.
The award in the Best Team in Geology and Exploration category was won by the project “4D Seismic Exploration on the Russian Continental Shelf”, which involves staging a basic 4D seismic survey with bottom support systems. Domestic vessels, personnel and equipment were deployed to complete the project; these were largely developed by Gazprom Nedra specialists as a R&D assignment under the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade import substitution programmes.
Gazprom Nedra LLC’s Orenburggazgeofizika research and production branch (RPB) received an award from PJSC Gazprom’s construction sector as the best contractor in geological exploration and geophysical projects. The branch is responsible for comprehensive geophysical support services across the spectrum of gas field development; it also provides high-quality geological and geophysical information to subsoil users. In addition, the branch is tangibly working to improve operational procedures in a bid to make the company’s operations more cost-efficient.
During the ceremony, the winners in the Best Volunteer Initiative nomination for the best volunteer project implemented by Gazprom’s construction employees in 2024 were named. Among others, the Chance project was awarded, under which Gazprom Nedra volunteers have been cooperating with the Chance sports and health club for disabled people in Tyumen since March 2024. The club brings together people suffering from musculoskeletal disabilities — those who, due to severe injuries and illnesses, are forced to use a wheelchair. The implementation of the Chance project forms part of the development of the volunteer movement at Gazprom Nedra LLC.
