Gazprom Nedra Demonstrated A Range of Innovative Products at SPIGF-2024
During the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF-2024), Gazprom Nedra LLC presented a range of innovative products designed to conduct geophysical operations and well logging. The company formed part of the exhibition at the PJSC Gazprom display stand for the construction sector.

The PJSC Gazprom display stand for the construction sector welcomed a considerable amount of attanetion at SPIGF-2024
The stand showcased a geophysical lubricator unit (GLU), which was designed and manufactured by the Scientific and Manufacturing Affiliated Company Tsentrgazgeofizika (Kimry, Tver Region), a company subsidiary. The GLU features an innovative system for monitoring and recording process parameters and features the capability to transmit data via radio channels. The unit can be used in all types of wells with wellhead overpressure, including those under repair or remedial work or located in underground gas storage facilities. The GLU is available in various modifications, including a hydrogen sulfide-resistant design.

To date, Gazprom Nedra has manufactured 149 units, both for its own operations, and those of its partners in neighbouring countries and beyond.
The Gazprom construction sector stand also featured a pilot prototype of the PB-3 safety switch, developed by the company’s professional experts. This device ensures that safety is maintained during compressor construction operations. The device protects the blasting circuit against an unauthorized power supply and features an additional safety barrier in the form of a key. The new equipment, made entirely of Russian components, complies with all current standards and can replace similar imported models.
Evgeny Kocherginsky, the Acting Head of NPF Tsentergazgeofizika, noted that “potential consumers in the domestic market are already expressing interest in this product. Following the completion of pilot testing, a decision will be made regarding the mass production of the device.”
