Gazprom Nedra held public hearings on projects at the Khandinskaya site in the Irkutsk Region
On 17 July, a delegation from Gazprom Nedra LLC took part in the public debate session regarding the state environmental impact assessment of facilities in the Kazachinsko-Lensky municipal district of the Irkutsk Region. The hearings were held in person and by videoconference.
The materials and reports presented at the hearings provided a comprehensive review of the activities of Gazprom Nedra LLC in the Kazachinsk-Lensky District of the Irkutsk Region
Information on the construction projects of two exploratory wells in the Khandinsky licence area of Gazprom PJSC was submitted for consideration by the district community.
Maxim Fedunov, Head of the Eastern Siberia Geological Exploration of Gazprom Nedra LLC, told the participants about the peculiarities of geological exploration in the district. In particular, he emphasised that a historical-cultural and state environmental expertise is mandatory for all construction projects so that a positive conclusion can be obtained.
During the hearings everyone was given an opportunity to speak, ask questions and receive answers from the representatives of Gazprom Nedra LLC.
Based on the results of the discussions, public approval was obtained for the proposed economic activities within the framework of exploration well construction projects at the Khandinskaya site.
