Gazprom Nedra Helps Restore Stocks of Valuable Fish Species in Yakutia
On June 25, as part of an initiative to promote the artificial reproduction of aquatic biological resources, employees of Gazprom Nedra LLC released more than 36,000 peled fry into the Aanniaakh river; from there the fry will make their way into the Vilyuiskoye reservoir in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The fry of this valuable species of fish, which is of significant importance for the population of Yakutia who maintain a traditional lifestyle, were released while employees from the Eastern Siberia Territorial Administration of the Russian Federal Fishery Agency looked on. The juvenile fish were bred and released under the order of Gazprom Nedra LLC by a contractor company, the State Unitary Enterprise Chernyshevsky Fish Hatchery.
