Gazprom Nedra LLC has developed a unique software tool to estimate the cost of well logging
The “Smeta GIRS” Information Management System (IMS) developed by the in-house team of Gazprom Nedra LLC in collaboration with specialists of LLC “DeluVremya” has been registered in the Computer Software Register by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property. The software product is designed to automate the process of estimating costs during well logging in the oil and gas industry, and to facilitate the preparation of final analytical reports.

IMS “Smeta GIRS is currently being rolled out across the company’s production operations. Twenty five employees from dedicated units had training to become qualified users of the new software.
“Efficient cost estimation at the outset of well logging remains a crucial factor for the successful implementation of a project. Further automation of this process, taking into account multiple industry factors, ensures the high accuracy of cost estimates submitted to customers; this ensures that our company’s product remains in demand by companies providing similar services,” noted Aleksey Ovechkin, General Director of Gazprom Nedra LLC.
