Gazprom Nedra helped a charitable fund to establish an inclusive cafe

Gazprom Nedra LLC provided support for the opening of an inclusive cafe located at the premises of the charitable fund “Creative Association Krug” (BF TOK) in Moscow. The company financed the repair and maintenance of the air conditioning and ventilation systems in a space where 70 dependents of the association master their cooking skills and receive hot meals daily.

The inclusive cafe has become an important venue for many people with disabilities

The charitable fund supports the employment and rehabilitation of individuals with mental and sensory disabilities. Employees of the protected social workshops make ceramic items and candles, master woodwork and sewing skills, make soaps, grow plants and produce and engage in other creative and socially useful activities.

The inclusive cafe project is based on a cooking workshop that has been open and running since 2021, specializing in desserts and corporate orders. Since the cafe opened, employees with disabilities have gained practical experience under the supervision and guidance of professional mentors, participating in the preparation of a wide range of dishes. Regular customers of the eatery include volunteers who help the association by selling products from the workshops; they help to organize social and cultural adaptation events (for people to master new skills) for people with disabilities, and to raise awareness.
