Gazprom Nedra provided a summary of charitable activities in 2023

In 2023, Gazprom Nedra LLC showed its support for over 40 charitable projects. These projects were largely implemented under social and economic cooperation agreements with subjects and municipal institutions of districts of the Russian Federation, where the company conducts its production operations.

In the municipal districts of the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Okrug, charitable support was directed towards preserving the traditional lifestyle of the Indigenous Small-Numbered Peoples of the North (ISMPN) and environmental conservation activities. In the Tazovsky District, four sets of portable corrals were purchased for reindeer farms, and two snowmobiles were provided to residents of inter-settlement territories; Yamalsky District received assistance with organizing the Reindeer Herder Day. In Nadymsky District, Gazprom Nedra LLC participated in environmental campaigns such as “Water of Russia”, “Green Spring”, “Clean Summer,” and “Green Russia”.

In the Irkutsk Region, the aid funds were allocated to upgrade settlements and support social initiatives of the municipal district residents. In Ust-Udinsky District, Gazprom Nedra LLC contributed to the opening of the “Spartanets” martial arts hall and the construction of playgrounds at the “Svetlyachok” and “Kolokolchik” kindergartens. In Zhigalovsky District, the company supported volunteers from the local non-profit organization “Zhivi Serdtsem” in implementing a major series of patriotic and social events.

In Krasnoyarsk Krai, the company funded the purchase of an all-terrain vehicle for the educational system of Boguchansky District. Support was extended to the Krasnoyarsk Regional Fund for the Social Support of Veterans, Pensioners of Special Services and Their Family Members to organize the “Courage” regional junior basketball competition.

In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), assistance was provided to the “Tumara” wood buffalo farm. Projects aimed at providing healthy and engaging activities for the younger generation were introduced in Mirninsky District (a framed greenhouse for the garden plot of the Tas-Yuryakh village middle school) and Lensky District (an outdoor climbing wall at the children’s recreational center); the junior team from Kobyaisky District received support from the company to participate in the Republican Spartakiad for students of the “Sporty Yakutyane”.

A national ritualistic holiday in Sakhalin Island

In the Sakhalin Region, the company continued to offer extensive support to the local social organization KMNS of Poronaisky District and to the Yukte and Aborigeny communities in Noglinsky District leading traditional lifestyles. Gazprom Nedra LLC provided financial support to hold the intermunicipal event “Feeding of the Sea Master Spirit” and “Kurei”, which promoted the preservation of national industries and culture of the peoples of the North.

In Kamchatka Krai, emphasis was placed on sports designed to promote sport projects: Gazprom Nedra LLC was involved in construction of a mini-football field and a skateboarding court in Sobolevo village.

As part of its social partnership with the government of Murmansk Region aimed at developing the tourism and investment potential in this area, the company financed the presentation of arctic food brands during the 26th International Hospitality Industry Exhibition, PIR EXPO-2023, in Moscow.

Some of the charitable projects undertaken by Gazprom Nedra LLC were conducted within the industry. The company helped students of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (Moscow) with attending onsite training, and provided financial assistance to the Tyumen Regional Council of War and Work Veterans of Ervier Glavtyumengeologiya enterprises to organize a series of events commemorating the 75th anniversary of geology in Tyumen. As a member of Non-Profit Partnership of Gas Industry Companies “Gazprom at Baikal”, the company offered support in organizing the first “Young Leader” youth forum.

In 2023, Gazprom Nedra LLC also made donations to beneficiaries and programs of such Russian charitable projects (CP) and social organizations as Russian Children’s Fund, ANO “Inclusive Center for Development of Adaptive Sports, Esthetic Upbringing and Social Support “Crystal Puzzles”, CP “Illustrated Books for Little Blind Children”, Tyumen Club of Handicapped Veterans of Fitness and Sports, CP “Creative Association Krug”, CP for Children and their Parents “Providence”, CP “Saving Wooden Churches of the Russian North VERENITSA”, CP of social programs “TVARDOVSKOGO, 2”, among others.
