Gazprom Nedra LLC Summed Up the Winter delivery of Materials and Equipment to Remote fields
Gazprom Nedra has summed up the results of the winter delivery of material and technical resources and oil products to the fields of Western and Eastern Siberia. The total volume of delivered cargoes required for the construction of exploration and prospecting and appraisal boreholes in 2021 exceeded 28,000 tonnes.
The enterprise delivered materials, equipment and components for new drilling rigs, as well as diesel fuel, to the fields of the Yamal Peninsula, Irkutsk Region and Republic of Sakha. For this, more than 830 km of temporary winter roads were laid, which were regularly operated from December till April. About 220 units of special equipment and trucks that made a total of more than 2,500 trips were involved in the work.

For fields that are far from industrial centers and do not have road connections in summer, winter delivery is the most important source of ensuring the continuity of the production process. We have successfully coped with this task and fully implemented the plan in this area of work” — said Vsevolod Cherepanov, General Director of Gazprom Nedra LLC.
Also, the winter campaign included the demobilisation of material and technical resources, as well as equipment, from sites where the construction of boreholes has already been completed. About 9,000 tonnes of cargo were transported along winter roads from self-supporting fields.
