Gazprom Nedra LLC summed up the results of charitable activities in 2020

More than 40 socially significant projects were supported by the company in 2020. Financial assistance was allocated for the implementation of measures taking into account the needs of the population of specific territories.

Such interaction is based on the Social and Economic Cooperation Agreement signed by Gazprom Nedra LLC with the Russian Federation subjects and municipalities where production activities are carried out. These are the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the Krasnoyarsk Region, Republic of (Sakha) Yakutia, the Irkutsk and Sakhalin Regions, and other regions. The implementation of socially significant events was financed, such as the purchase of medical equipment, automobile passenger equipment, repair and improvement of schools and houses of culture, equipment of sports schools, reconstruction of general roads, material and technical equipment of agricultural enterprises.

Thanks to the company, in particular, the Yamal District Public Movement of the Indigenous Small-numbered Peoples of the North (YAROD KMNS) “Yamal” carried out air transportation of the population of Yamal District leading a nomadic lifestyle. As needed, representatives of the indigenous minority peoples of the North travelled by helicopter to their places of residence after being discharged from hospitals and in other emergency situations. Delivery of food products to hard-to-reach areas was also arranged. The company assisted in the improvement and maintenance of the Limbya Ethnopark-camp, contributing to the development and preservation of the traditional culture of indigenous peoples, and also supported other projects implemented by the YAROD KMNS Yamal.

In cooperation with the Local public organization of the indigenous minorities of the North of Poronaysky District of the Sakhalin Region, native concert costumes were purchased for the folk ensemble Mengume Ilga — a participant and winner of various festivals, including foreign ones. In the village of Sobolevo, Sobolevsky District, Kamchatka Territory, funds were used to equip a skate park. And for the needs of the Boguchansky District house of culture “Yantar” of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a bus was purchased to transport children's amateur artistic groups. Young artists will be able to comfortably get to concert venues and participate in regional and territorial competitions.

Gazprom Nedra LLC charitable activities in 2020 were also aimed at helping children with disabilities, namely, publishing books for blind and visually impaired young readers as well as paying for rehabilitation programs for minors diagnosed with cerebral palsy and other diseases.

As a member of “Gazprom in the Orenburg Region”, a non-profit partnership of gas industry companies, the company made a voluntary contribution to a New Year holiday celebration for orphans.
